lyrics
I pray that when I fade away the writtens stay
My grandkids’ grandkids gon’ make a way
I don’t mow the lawn, use bare hands to separate the snakes
Patience in the places where I used to be complacent
The quickest way to lose your time and money if you chase ‘em
My spirit merely bruised, a hit was taken
Like the grazing of a bullet any further it’d erase ‘em
Like paper mate, you diss the tec is drawn
Raps in the repertoire
Packed in the Kia Sportage couple hours to New York
I been plantin’ seeds for years to get my flowers while I walk
Actions could’ve led to karma but I sat and had a talk
So I thought
Askin’ God how to exemplify remorse, yea yea
How do I exemplify remorse?
Been cryin’ heavy tears of joy don’t want no sympathy
The range stretch out to infinity
Q50 my speed
Yard work was 250 a week
5’7 but niggas 7 feet ain’t get’n up with me
The rhymes bring heart, the soul is what the melodies bring
Don’t sweat it I’m far ahead cause I been cherry picking
Experienced hell, I’ll tell you that the devil don’t sing
It’s more whispers
SUV packed deep with four niggas
Pack heat, got warm triggers
Black sweater with sneakers shoes
No lenses I see congruent
No reference is being used
Your only choice is to choose, nigga
Actions could’ve let you karma but I sat and had a talk, so i thought
Askin’ God how to exemplify remorse

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
